Rigging qualifications

Theaker has an Advanced Rigging ticket, is trained with basic scaffolding, and is also licensed to operate a forklift. With these qualifications she is able to coordinate the setup of all of the rigs below, as well as install her aerial equipment in buildings and other locations.

Freestanding street rig

Set up time: 30mins
Take down time: 20minutes
Height: 7 meters
Ground space/foot print: 5.5 metres x 7.5 meters
This can rig be erected on any area which is reasonable flat and 8meters away from open power lines.
This rig can be set up to the side of a main stage, or to the side of a 'pitch' then moved by two people into the 'show zone'. It will take ten minutes to level the rig before the performance.
Ballast needed: 4 x 40kg of builders sand which is available from all hardware stores.

Screw down rig

Set up time: 1 hour
Take down time: 30 minutes
Height: 6, 8, or 10 metres
Ground space/foot print: 12 metres across x 8 metres deep
Vertical supports comprised of two metre units of Aluminium tube.
2/3 guy ropes on each upright ( 4/6 in total).
Bolts into ground. 10mm dyna bolts into tarmac/concrete.

Crane rig

For working load limit of 600kg .
4 metre spreader bar.
Six guy ropes.
Dyna Bolts into concrete.
Eight tonne crane.
Foot print is adaptable pending area used.
4 metres to 8 metres sides.
8 metres to 12 metres front.

I can also work on other rigs, architecture, trees and in buildings pending safety and rigging assessment. I prefer to do all my own rigging but am happy to work with other riggers.

Static Trapeze.

Minimum height: 5 metres
Bearing capacity of points: 350 kg per point
Three Points each 55cm apart.

Aerial Silks

Minimum Height: 7 metres
Bearing Capacity of one point: 1000kg

Bearing Trapeze

Minimum Height: 7 metres
Bearing Capacity of points: 600kg per point
Three Points each 55cm apart.

Bearing Aerial Silks

Minimum Height: 7 metres
Bearing Capacity of one point: 1200 kg
